Student Loan for my daughter

I am a Tenet employee and I would like to apply for a student loan and or private loan for my daughter who will be attending SFSU in the fall 09. Can someone point me in a direction. My credit is not the best and I'm worried I will not be able to qualify. Any suggestions?

I would like additional information on the mix and match student loan for my daughter, she will be attending collage fall 2010
